The Harvard Trio is a unique chamber music group exclusively performing the full repertoire for clarinet, cello and piano. Acclaimed for its superb sense of ensemble and balance, the trio is committed to bringing chamber music to a broad audience through thrilling performances and quality outreach activites. Its programs juxtapose the masterworks of Beethoven, Brahms and Zemlinksy alongside the dramatic pieces of contemporary composers such as Piazzolla, Bonsdorff and Harrington. The passionate tones and complex textures of the clarinet, cello and piano combine to ignite a rich and rare experience. In addition to their distinction as one of classical music's accomplished ensembles, each artist's reputation has been highly praised for their dynamic and innovative interpretations of the masterpieces as well as sought after for their artistic performances of new music written for their instrumentation.
